HYPEDetroit.org partners with Center for Chicano-Boriqua Studies (CBS)

HYPEDetroit will be teaming up with several students and faculty of the CBS program at Wayne State University with one of many goals in mind.  The main goal will be to breach to gap between potential students and entrepreneurs, and local Hispanic owned businesses and HBA corporate members..

Peter Vazquez, Director of HYPEDetroit states, “To reach that goal we must empower and motivate our young professionals by introducing them to our business community. You never know, our next community leaders may be right underneath our noses.”  With the help of CBS and WSU students HYPEDetroit plans to provide resources that will help the young professional Hispanic navigate in the fast-paced environment of today’s business, education, career growth, and social or business networking.

Peter, who is also President of Xtreme Design Studios, a local Marketing and Promotions company, have once again sponsored the development of a new website, hypedetroit.org. The site will be used as an online portal for the Hispanic business community and the young professional and entrepreneur. One other website created by his company is SalsaDetroit.com, Detroit's largest source of Latin entertainment. Some of the features currently available on the HYPEDetroit.org website are:

HYPEDetroit and CBS will offer a wide-ranging selection of events and activities; guaranteed to appeal to the most discriminating young professional. Many of these activities will be sponsored events by local businesses and the Hispanic Business Alliance. Cultural programming includes motivational speakers covering politics, business, education, health, fashion, travel and so much more.

Coming very soon will be the monthly HYPE AFTER 6 social and networking events which will be held at different venues in Southeast Michigan. Many of the events will include live music, networking with other young professionals, and connecting with the best the Hispanic community has to offer.
